1. Who we are and scope

PeakSync is operated by peaksync.net. Contact us at info@peaksync.net.

PeakSync provides private cloud-based video motion analysis and related Funscript-compatible software tools. It temporarily processes video you select to identify motion trajectories and convert detected movement into timestamped position data.

This Policy explains how PeakSync handles information when you use the website and account features. It does not cover third-party video sources, device vendors, Telegram, or Discord, which have their own policies.

2. Information we handle

We handle:

• account information, including email, display name, timezone, avatar, password hash, and accepted legal-document versions;
• source videos temporarily submitted for recognition;
• generated funscripts, basic source metadata such as the video filename, and task status;
• source hashes and your confirmations that you have the necessary rights and that the source is lawful;
• device profile, safety settings, compatibility, and sanitized connection/test status;
• private Support request category, subject, message, account identity snapshot, delivery outcome, and operational handling status when you contact us through the onsite form;
• necessary cookies, session identifiers, CAPTCHA/email-verification state, browser/device data, timestamps, safe error codes, and security logs.

Source media may reveal sensitive information. Only submit another person's image or information when you have the rights and consents required to process it.

3. How we use information

Source videos are used exclusively for your requested motion-analysis task and for no other purpose. This includes input validation, decoding, and preprocessing needed for that task.

We use other information, such as account details, task records, and support messages, only to:

• create, authenticate, secure, and support accounts;
• save, edit, play, download, and delete user-controlled funscripts;
• connect compatible devices and apply user-selected safety controls;
• operate task history and service limits;
• receive, deliver, review, and respond to private Support requests;
• respond to abuse reports and security incidents using available task records, source declarations, security logs, and information supplied by the requester;
• maintain, troubleshoot, and protect PeakSync.

We do not use your source videos, or the motion data generated from them, to develop, optimize, tune, benchmark, or train PeakSync or third-party AI models. Source media is processed only to produce your own task output. PeakSync only uses aggregated technical metrics, such as processing duration and error rates, to operate and improve the service. These metrics do not include your video content. PeakSync does not sell personal information, serve targeted advertising, or publish website account content. A user may separately choose to post in the public Telegram community described below.

4. Video and retention

After the motion-analysis task ends, whether it succeeds, fails, or is canceled, the server-side source video files and temporary video copies created for the task are completely and physically deleted. PeakSync does not provide video hosting. Generated scripts and source records are separate from source video files and have their own retention rules.

Video URL loads a file from your device or local network into your browser, then uses the same preparation and upload process as Upload file. Our servers do not receive or retain the source file path or local network address. Public video links are no longer accepted. Historical saved source-video URL references are removed; your scripts remain available. Select a local video again when a browser-local copy is unavailable in Edit or Player.

Terminal task information is kept for 90 days. Source fingerprints and rights/lawfulness declarations are retained while a task is active and for 90 days after the last associated task finishes, fails, or is canceled. For a source never submitted to a task, the period is 90 days after the declaration. This period does not extend the storage of source videos. These record-retention rules do not retain source video files or temporary video copies. Specific non-video records may be retained longer when necessary for a documented complaint, investigation, or legal obligation, with access restricted and the need reviewed. An account-deletion request disables access and removes account/profile identity fields. It does not immediately erase all account-linked scripts, device records, or operational records. Remaining records require deletion review and applicable retention checks; a scheduled review date is not confirmation of physical erasure. Contact us for the status of an erasure request. Source-evidence and Support retention periods remain separate. Security logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary.

Private Support requests, including optional attachments, their account identity snapshot, and email-delivery metadata, are physically deleted 180 days after receipt regardless of handling status. Support email is attempted once after the request is saved; a delivery failure does not cause repeated email attempts.

Files on your device

Server-side deletion does not delete your original files or private recovery copies in your browser. Those device-local copies can support Edit and Player and can be removed by clearing PeakSync site data. They are not a server-side video library. File paths require a file-picker selection to authorize access. Local network reads require your browser and server to permit access. Network videos are streamed to temporary browser storage; failed or canceled reads are removed and expired copies are cleaned on subsequent use. VR video conversion and ordinary preprocessing take place on your device before upload.

5. Service providers and processing location

PeakSync uses third-party service providers for hosting, security, email, support, video processing, and related services. These providers may process only the information necessary to provide their services.

Video processing may occur in different countries through PeakSync's global infrastructure and is not limited to a single hosting region.

When you connect a third-party device or service, necessary information may be shared with that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. This may include authorization information or motion-script data required for device synchronization.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our users, services, or legal rights.

6. Public community services

PeakSync may link to public communities hosted by Telegram or Discord for product announcements, troubleshooting, feedback, feature requests, and user discussion. If you join or post, your Telegram profile, messages, media, reactions, and other activity are handled by Telegram under its own terms and privacy policy and may be visible to other community members under the selected provider's terms and privacy policy.

Your community account is not linked to your PeakSync account, and PeakSync does not send account, task, credit, or device data to Telegram or Discord through the website. PeakSync moderators may view, reply to, retain operational records about, or remove public posts as needed to moderate the community and respond to product feedback. A public post is not a private support request. Send account, privacy, security, legal, or sensitive-log matters to the private Contact Us form or info@peaksync.net instead.

7. Cookies, Analytics and device credentials

With your consent, PeakSync uses Google Analytics to understand website usage and product interactions. Analytics may collect technical information, usage data, identifiers, and your IP address. We do not send source videos, script content, account identifiers, or device credentials to Google Analytics.

You can reject or withdraw Analytics consent at any time through Analytics Preferences in the footer. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

PeakSync also uses necessary cookies or browser storage for login, security, and essential functionality.

Where supported, device connection details may be securely stored in your browser to simplify future connections. These details are not used to automatically connect devices without your action.

8. Security and choices

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, including access limits, minimized collection, redaction of secrets, and temporary source handling. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

You can update available profile information and delete scripts, source references, device profiles, and your account through PeakSync. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, receive, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. Contact info@peaksync.net to make a request. We may verify your identity before completing it.

9. Children

PeakSync is not intended for children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone who is not eligible to use the service, we will take appropriate steps to restrict or delete the information as required by applicable law.
